Kinley Tian

Kinley Tian is a luxury interior architect, art advisor and collector working between Australia and Greater China. Her background in interior architecture gives Heseri a practical understanding of how artwork lives within high-end residences, hospitality settings and commercial environments.

Her design practice has received recognition across seven international and regional honours, including Good Design Australia, APDC and German Design Award nomination. She has also undertaken specialist study in Chinese ceramics and Chinese painting and calligraphy through Christie’s education programmes.

As a collector, she brings first-hand experience of provenance, condition, auction research, spatial placement and the long-term stewardship of art and antiques.

Christie’s Education

A foundation in Chinese art and the art trade

Kinley Tian completed Christie’s Education Asia Pacific’s Careers in the Art & Luxury World series, including the “Careers in the World of Chinese Art” programme focused on Chinese ceramics and Chinese painting and calligraphy.

This continuing-education experience supports her research-led approach to provenance, connoisseurship, collection direction and spatial placement. It complements—rather than replaces—independent specialist expertise and auction-house documentation.

Co-Founder

Aspen Lu

Born in Shenyang, Aspen Lu is a direct descendant of the Heseri lineage. They grew up within a family culture in which collecting, connoisseurship and the care of objects formed part of everyday life.

Their perspective anchors the name Heseri in continuity rather than ornament: a living relationship with history, family memory and the cultural responsibility of collecting.

Our Approach

From research to placement

Heseri advises private clients, interior designers, architects and commercial project teams on contemporary art acquisition, Australian-local antique transactions, collection direction and art placement.

Delivery, framing and installation can be coordinated as part of the project. Contemporary works may be sourced across borders; antique transactions are presently limited to Australia.
