THE ORIGIN & ETHOS
Rooted in the historical cradle of the Qing Dynasty, Aspen Lu’s aesthetic vocabulary is bound to the aristocratic lineage of the Manchu Hešeri clan (Bordered Yellow Banner). Surrounded by traditional antiquities, Wenwan (scholar's objects), and profound cultural reverence from a young age, Aspen developed an inherent understanding of 'time' not as an abstract concept, but as a tangible material.
Relocating to South Australia, this profound oriental heritage evolved into a contemporary spatial philosophy. Heseri Studio operates at the intersection of slow botanical art and architectural severity.

It is not merely about placing a tree in a room; it is about grounding a space with centuries of silent history.
